Ariadna revealed on her Twitter profile last Monday (29) how she is uncomfortable with being differentiated by the term “transsexual” by media outlets.
The former BBB made a point of highlighting that she is not ashamed of being who she is and that she recognizes her sexual orientation, but she is tired of being treated as “the transsexual Ariada”. Now, if that happens, she says she will file a lawsuit.
“My name is not transsexual, my name is Ariadna Thalia da Silva Arantes. From today onwards, anyone who does not respect me as such will be prosecuted. I deserve respect,” she wrote.
The ex-BBB also gave examples of her anger. “For example, would anyone here like to always be referred to as 'the heterosexual Fulano, or the homosexual Ciclano or the bisexual Beltrano'?”
The girl took advantage of the protest to post a photo of her birth certificate. “This here is my birth certificate. I did not buy. I have it by right. Recognized by law as WOMAN. Respect", she shouted.
Finally, the former BBB clarified that she did not post the photo to “prove her sex” but, rather, to show that she has a first and last name, like everyone else. “When will people become aware that we are all equal?” she asked.
