Transex Amanda Lepore records video in São Paulo at Glória club

Performer Amanda Lepore decided to record the video for her new song in Brazil. The video for the single "Do It My Way", which is part of Amanda's new album, will be recorded this Saturday (14) in São Paulo.

The famous North American transsexual comes to the city to perform at the Luxo Pop Show's 3rd birthday party, at the Glória club. "After we closed the show with her, she asked for permission to record the clip at the club", says André Hidalgo, one of Glória's members. Lepore gained notoriety after she became the muse of hyped photographer David LaChapelle.

Amanda's clip will be inspired by the editorial that Madonna photographed in Brazil for the North American magazine "W", in December 2009. It was in the photos taken at the Glória hotel in Rio de Janeiro that the singer met model Jesus Luz for the first time You already know the rest of the story.

Filming for the clip will begin in a hotel in the capital of São Paulo. Afterwards, Amanda will go to the Glória club, where the scenes with the artist singing will be recorded. Hidalgo told the The Cape that Amanda intends to follow Madonna's editorial to the letter. "She even ordered a boy to be chosen who looked like Jesus Luz", he says. The casting to select the models who will participate in the clip took place this Thursday (12). All the boys in the clip will be wearing Alexandre Herchcovitch.

The final scenes of the clip must be recorded during the anniversary of the Luxo Pop Show, a party led by Johnny Luxo. This is the second time that Amanda has performed at Glória. The first was in 2009, at the Casa de Criadores closing party, when the transex treated the public to a strip. This time, the night is also promising!
