A 31-year-old transvestite died yesterday in the city of Campinas after injecting industrial silicone into her own body. The information is from the G1 portal.
According to Dr. Mário Gatti Municipal Hospital, transvestite Érica Pinheiro, born José Raimundo Bezerra Pinheiro, fell ill after applying silicone to her buttocks last Monday (23/03).
Upon arriving at the hospital, in a serious clinical condition and with symptoms of a generalized infection (high fever, shortness of breath and very intense gastric bleeding), Érica could not resist the complications and passed away.
Industrial silicone is used for cleaning cars and waterproofing tiles. The product is injected illegally by professionals known as bombers. The cost is also cheaper than those used by doctors in plastic surgeries.
