The comic book, Tuma da Mônica, will have a version with stories that address LGBTQ+ themes. It will be produced by Mauro de Sousa, son of the famous cartoonist Maurício de Sousa.
“It’s still very new. We don't have a launch date, but we feel the need for creation and it is already being done at full steam. In addition to me and Rafa, other people involved in the LGBT cause are involved in the project. Let’s make lemonade with lemon”, revealed Mauro in an interview with Extra.
“It was difficult for us to create, but it was already the team’s idea. We decided to run with it. We couldn’t wait any longer when we saw what was done at the literary fair,” he concluded.
