The penalties in Algeria are two months to two years in prison.
Antigua and Barbuda
Adults can face sentences of 15 years in prison and minors can face up to 5 years.
Bangladesh
Penalties start at 10 years in prison and can reach life imprisonment.
Barbados
The penalty for gays is life in prison.
Butao
The sentence for gays ranges from one month to one year in prison.
Botswana
The penalty can be up to seven years in prison.
Brunei
The penalty was up to 10 years in prison, but in recent weeks a new law came into force and a gay person can be killed by stoning as punishment.
Burundi
The penalty is three months to two years in prison, or a fine of between 30 and 60 dollars.
Shrimp
Penalties range from six months to five years in prison and a fine of 35 to 350 dollars.
Chade
Penalties range from three months to two years in prison or a fine ranging between 87 and 870 dollars.
