The 1st Diversity Expo is coming, which will bring products and services to the LGBT public to São Paulo

The event will bring together a business fair, lectures, exhibitions, parties and shows, including Daniela Mercury from Bahia

A EXPO Diversity, event aimed at the end consumer, aimed at the public LGBT and people who value culture, entertainment and quality products, will take place at the event center PRO MAGNO, in the capital of São Paulo, from the 22nd to the 24th of July.

The space has 30.000 m² of covered area and the exhibition will occupy, with all its activities, the basement (parking lot) and the three floors of the pavilion.

Because it is plural and inclusive, EXPO Diversidade will have a business pavilion, lecture and debate room, shows, exhibition rooms, space for sporting activities and a food court. The fair will welcome exhibitors of products and services from all segments of the economy and who want to reinforce or build their gay friendly image.

Companies in the food and beverage segments can participate; health and beauty; entrepreneurship and business, education and culture; House and decoration; properties; services; fitness and sports; tourism and leisure; fashion; automobiles; electronics and cell phones; and third sector.

The show schedule has already confirmed the singer's performance Daniela mercury, which will close the event on the night of July 24th. The program of shows will be opened by renowned DJs from the national and international circuit: Repow, Rodrigo Vieira, Adriano Pagani, Hot Bullet and Kickstarts.

The program has confirmed the exhibition by Canadian artist Patrick Fillion, an iconographic work on homoerotic art that will be exhibited for the first time in Brazil. Critics call him Stan Lee of homoerotic comics and their work is said to have a hint of Aubrey Beardsley, Tom of Finland and Paul Cadmus.

Another confirmed exposure is from Museum of Sexual Diversity in São Paulo. The third exhibition of the show is under negotiation.

The event also has a sports program, which includes a cycling tour for 3 thousand people, on the morning of July 24th.

And, visitors to the fair will also be able to practice climbing, zip lining and indoor rappelling, free of charge.

"Homosexuals travel a lot, hold important positions in large companies, buy quality products and have refined taste. On average, it is estimated that gay consumers spend 30% more than heterosexual consumers", he explains. Ricardo Gomes, organizer of EXPO Diversidade.

The LGBT public also represents an important segment for exhibiting companies and an opportunity to reinforce or build their gay friendly image.

"This public is increasingly free to come out to their family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Therefore, companies that intend to position themselves as gay friendly gain many points in consumer preference and best of all, they do not it is necessary to remodel the logo with rainbow colors, change its facade or redo the company website. Just introduce yourself and talk to this consumer", explains Gomes.
