The VI MG Lesbian Walk will take place on July 24th, in Belo Horizonte, organized by ALEM – Associação Lésbica de Minas Gerais.
The gathering takes place from 13pm, in Praça Sete, in the center. Afterwards, the Walk continues, starting at 16pm, along Avenida Afonso Pena, ending the walk at Praça Afonso Arinos.
“We have a conscious vote as our agenda this year, remembering the secular State. We will also shout for the right to civil union and adoption for same-sex couples”, explains the organization.
This year, the Walk intends to bring together around 4 thousand women, as in 2009. Last year, the demonstration called for abortion, public policies for the population of lesbian and bisexual women.
