A video that shows a young man coming out as bisexual during a graduation ceremony has gone viral on the internet and is serving as an inspiration to other young people.
Mason Bleu was chosen to be the class valedictorian, and took the opportunity to speak for the first time about how proud he is to be bisexual.
“Be proud of what you have achieved, of who you are, continue to seek knowledge and most important of all, find ways to educate yourself.” “I struggled with being proud of something in my life. But since I'm talking about pride today, it would be hypocritical to continue hiding.” “I'm not someone who usually gets emotional but saying this is extremely personal and difficult. For a long time, I struggled with my sexuality. I ignored her because I wasn't proud of who I was. But today I'm going to change that. I’m proud to be bisexual,” she celebrated.
