The Reverend Philip Clements died at the age of 81, on May 31, and left her entire fortune to her husband Florin Marin, of 27 years.

The couple from Kent, England, made waves online in 2017, when the vicar publicly came out of the closet and announced that he would marry the Romanian model after meeting him through Gaydar, a dating site for gay and bisexual men.

They had a turbulent relationship, which was the subject of both their appearances on the TV show The Jeremy Kyle Show (ITV) in 2018.

In an interview with Daily Mail, Marin said that the former reverend of the Chuch of England Anglican church died alone in the hospital, without being able to receive visitors because of the new coronavirus pandemic.

According to the widower, Clements asked him not to cry. The last time she visited, Marin left a letter saying “everyone who loves you is praying for you in England and that the cat is well and you miss him”.

Clements, who will be cremated in a small ceremony for loved ones, died in Bucharest, where she lived with her husband. The vicar did not die from Covid-19 and details regarding his health condition were not disclosed.
