The series "Macho Man", by Fernanda Young and Alexandre Machado, was launched this Thursday in São Paulo, which tells the story of an "ex-gay".
During the launch, actress Marisa Orth, who is in the cast, commented about a gay friend who fell in love with a woman. "I don't know for how long, but a friend of mine is ex-gay. He fell madly in love with a woman. Today, he is one of the best husbands in the world, sexually speaking, and his friends are all jealous," he told the newspaper "Extra".
The main character, Nelson, will be played by actor and director Jorge Fernando. A well-established homosexual, Nelson will be hit in the head by a drag queen's jump on the dance floor and faints. When he wakes up, he becomes interested in women. “You’re not going to ask me if I’m ex-gay, right?” joked Jorge Fernando about his character.
"Despite my birthplace being Dzi Croquettes, the actor's high is to be full, we have boxes of all emotions and frustrations. When he needs joy, the actor goes to the box of joy, when he needs prejudice, he looks for it in the prejudices that has and does not accept", he added. For Fernanda Young, everyone is “ex something”.
"I'm an ex-goth, Alexandre is an ex-publicist. I don't know an ex-gay, but several gays wanted to get me, because I'm a big hit with the gay public. Today, I'm very isolated, but there in the dark room of sexuality, we know what we are", he declared.
The series "Macho Man" will be shown from April on Fridays.
