This week, NBC canceled the revival of the classic sitcom Will & Grace, three years (and three seasons) after it was resumed by the broadcaster.

Iconic for the LGBT audience for having the homosexual protagonist of an open TV series, Will (Eric McCormack), production will come to an end in the 11th season, which ends on April 23rd. It will conclude with a special retrospective episode presented by McCormack.

In the series, Will is a gay lawyer and Grace (Debra Messing), an interior designer; they are both friends and live together in New York. With beloved supporting characters Karen (Megan Mullally) and Jack (Sean Hayes), they form a hilarious quartet who share adventures and misadventures in love, with plenty of room for different aspects of gay culture to be explored.
