Hello, Marvel! The actress and singer Janelle Monáe, 34, wants to play Storm in films X-Men currently being produced by the studio.
“One of my dreams has always been to play her,” he said in an interview with the magazine Empire. “I don't know if she appears in Black Panther, but it would be a dream to have her in it. Many women have played Storm and done exceptional work, and I would love to be part of that line of artists and do her justice.”
Can Monáe make this dream come true? We hope so!
She can currently be seen in the series Homecoming (Amazon Prime Video) and later this year, in horror Antebellum.
