– This is a thank you post. –

I don't know exactly how long I've been waiting for my 30th birthday party. But I knew it had to be unforgettable, unique. I think turning thirty represents a kind of “rite of passage” for me, as we anthropologists say. An important ritual that causes something to change significantly in our lives. Okay, that might be my exaggeration. It probably is. But anyway, I wanted to be thirty. And I'm happy to be thirty-something now.

My party was great. And I just have to thank my friends and family who came to my party last Saturday. I think Tennessee Williams was right when he said that “life is partly what we make of it, and partly what we make of it by the friends we choose.” And I can say that, in this regard, I have nothing to complain about. And I love my friends for making my life a “better place” in this strange world (and, from my point of view, family can also be part of our group of friends).

Thank you very much to everyone who called, sent smoke signals, left scraps, went to the party, etc., etc.

And, of course, I would also like to say a huge thank you to the girls at Tête – à – Tête for opening the party for me to celebrate my birthday, to the girls at The Dealers for the fantastic show as always and to the girls who DJed at the party for providing our “shaking the ass” moment throughout the night. It was beautiful. 🙂

Luv u guys. Without you I'm nothing.

Kisses (from Floripa)!
