Batwoman

Dykes comic book lovers, pay attention: the heroine Batwoman, who in the 52nd DC Comics maxiseries returned as a lesbian, will join the powerful Justice League. In addition to her, the bisexual blue alien named Mikaal Thomas (ex-Starman) will also join the other six superheroes to fight crime and corruption.

Batwoman caused controversy among readers when she reappeared in 52. The person who assumes the heroine's identity is a Gotham City socialite known as Katherine Kane. In the plot, the rich woman is the ex-girlfriend of detective and police officer Renee Montoya. Katherine Kane had been murdered by the League of Assassins and the Bronze Tiger in a September 1979 magazine.

Soon, the heroine should get a new series, which should be created by the great duo Greg Rucka (“Gotham City vs. Crime”, “Whiteout”) and artist JH Williams III (“Batman”, “Promethea”).

The new Justice League series will be written by James Robinson, with the collaboration of scriptwriter and artist Darwyn Cooke. The release date has not been announced.
