San Antonio Drag Queen Jorgeous Competes on “RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars”

The ninth season of “RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars”, which will premiere on May 17, 2024 on the Paramount+ platform, will feature Jorge Meza, better known by his stage name, Jorgeous. A native of West San Antonio, Jorgeous returns to the franchise after participating in the 14th season of “RuPaul's Drag Race” in 2022, where he placed sixth or seventh.

During his previous appearance, Jorgeous gained prominence for his impressive lip-sync skills, which earned him the title of “Lip Sync Assassin” in the eighth season of “All Stars”. Now, he returns to the stage with more experience, having also participated in the “Werq the World” tour and the show “RuPaul's Drag Race Live!” in Las Vegas in 2023.

This season of “All Stars,” eight audience-favorite drag queens will compete for a $200.000 donation, provided by the Palette Fund, to a charity of their choosing. Jorgeous selected the National Alliance of Mental Illness, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of the millions of Americans affected by mental health conditions.

In addition to Jorgeous, this season's cast will include well-known contestants such as Angeria Paris VanMicheals, Gottmik, Nina West, Plastique Tiara, Roxxxy Andrews, Shannel and Vanessa Vanjie Mateo. Each of them will bring their unique style and experience to the competition, promising an exciting season full of memorable performances.

Expectations are high that Jorgeous will use not only her performance skills, but also her charisma and stunning beauty to conquer the competition. Her return to “All Stars” is a chance for redemption and to show the world the evolution of her art as a drag queen.

Fans of the show can look forward to episodes filled with creative challenges, behind-the-scenes drama and, of course, the unique brilliance that only “RuPaul's Drag Race” can offer.
