L'inverno scorso

In the documentary “Improvisamente l'inverno scorso”, directors Gustav Hofer and Luca Ragazzi make a strong criticism of the Italian parties that eliminated homosexuality from debates and political programs for the next elections in the country.

The film, awarded at the Berlin Film Festival, focuses on the misinformation and irresponsibility with which the media treat the subject, especially gay marriage.

Hofer states that Italy lives in the Middle Ages in many aspects, such as the new family models that continue to be supported by old models.

The documentary will be shown at the Rio Festival, which this year will be held between September 25th and October 9th. During the 15 days of the event, the event will present 350 films from more than 60 countries, shown in 30 locations in the city, distributed among cinemas and cultural tents.
