Gay character from Queridos Amigos caught in the “bathroom”

Yesterday the miniseries Queridos Amigos was pretty cool. In addition to the transvestite characters' shows, Benny, the openly gay man in the plot, played by actor Guilherme Weber, apparently did the bathroom line and got into trouble.

In one scene in the chapter, Pedro, his friend with whom he is in love, enters the bathroom of a restaurant. A young man comes out of one of the cabins, scared and in a hurry, complaining of pain in his hand. The boy leaves the bathroom and then Benny comes out of the same stall, bloodied.

Pedro gets scared and asks if Benny was robbed. The blonde responds, in a tone of “that’s right”, saying “let’s just say he took more than we had agreed… I wasn’t prepared for a session of The Brutes Also Love after the Unbearable Lightness of Being”. Pedro responds by advising his friend that he should choose the people he hangs out with better.

Benny, super-dramatic, responds, looking at his friend in the mirror: “But whoever I want doesn’t want me.” And, ironically, he adds: “But look, I’m delighted with your concern for me, delighted”. Suddenly, the blonde runs his finger through the blood in his mouth and draws on the mirror a letter I, a heart and a letter P. The inscriptions of “I Love P”, or “I love Pedro”.

The bearded friend says that Benny is a psychopath and leaves the bathroom nervously. Benny then makes a rhetorical comment: “It’s not true that love builds, right Leo? You’re an asshole, an asshole.”

And then the mystery: Benny hears the voice of Léo (Dan Stubach), who is missing in the plot, saying “you’re a psychopath!”
