On display for a year now, the comedy “My Husband's Lover” has been a hit with the public, having brought more than 40 spectators to the theater.

With Mateus Carrieri, Milton Levy, Adelita Del Sent and Miriam Lins in the cast, the play takes place inside the apartment of Espiridião (Milton Levy) and Telma (Miriam Lins). Retired, Espiridião has a dream: to be an actor, and to achieve this goal he spares no effort. Between a phone call to the agent where he plays the role of a homosexual and the unexpected arrival of his wife who overhears the entire conversation, great confusion arises. Telma believes that her husband is actually homosexual and is having an affair with Arnaldo (Mateus Carrieri).

To increase the buzz, Dorothy (Adelita Del Sent), the house's maid, catches her boss in new and fun rehearsals for her role, causing big misunderstandings and lots of laughter from the audience. “The play gained strength and acceptance for being unpretentious and having a light and fun narrative”, says Mirian Lins, director and actress of the play.
