'Revelation': Netflix documentary examines the evolution of trans representation on screen

The representation of transgender people has changed for the better in recent years.

And the documentary Revelation, from Netflix, examines the progress through accounts from important names in the dramatic arts and trans activism, such as the Emmy winner Laverne Cox (Orange is the New Black), who is also executive producer of the feature film, and MJ Rodriguez e Angelica Ross, both actresses in the series pose. The principal Lilly Wachowski (MatrixSense8) and the singer and actor Chaz Bonus (son of singers Cher and Sonny Bonno).

Revelation debuts on the platform this Friday (19).
