Last November, Singapore-based cable TV channel StarHub Vision was fined US$7,2 (R$12,2) for airing a commercial in which two lesbians kissed.
The commercial, created to promote the song “Silly Child”, by Chinese pop singer Olivia Yan, was shown on the MTV channel in Mandarin. In the clip, two girls kiss while a boy (probably the boyfriend of one of them) watches them.
