Silva – Claridão

After making his first album "Claridão" available for download on iTunes, Lúcio Silva aka SILVA surprises with his Brazilian synthpop.

There are 12 tracks, produced by SILVA himself with an electronic base and classical arrangements (he has a degree in classical music). The lyrics are all in Portuguese, which proves the originality of Espírito Santo.

Most of the tracks are known to the public, due to the first independent EP "SILVA", released in mid-2011, with 5 of the tracks and the shows performed. SILVA didn't have much experience, but her passion for electronic music after a trip to Ireland gave her the rhythm and strength to believe in the project.

It was such a success that SILVA was one of the attractions on "Experimente", presented by Beto Lee on MULTISHOW. It was one of the attractions at the Sónar SP festival in 2012 and I played outdoors and for free, at Praça do Patriarca in SP, at the Sai da Rede festival.

"Claridão" was mastered by Matt Colton and released on the SLAP label, from the Som Livre record label. The cover design was by Rob Carmichael, with a photo by Jorge Bispo.

The first single was "A Vista" directed by Zico Farina and Fernanda Fernandes in the music video.

"Mais Cedo", the second single, was composed by SILVA and her brother Lucas. The music video was directed by Gus Gan.
