Twin Shadow – Confess

George Lewis Jr., better known as Twin Shadow, releases his second album, Confess, on the 4AD label. Self-produced and mixed by Michael H. Brauer (Bob Dylan and Paul McCartney), the album precedes "Forget", from 2010 (considered "impressive" by The Sunday Times).

Twin is back with what he does best; reinvent and form a refreshing and modern sound for the band. There are ten new tracks plus a bonus track. Part of the inspiration for Confess came from a motorcycle accident that Twin suffered. The incident brought him new ideas and sensations.

"Five Seconds" is the first single to be taken from the new album. The video is directed by Keith Musil and is based on the novel written by Twin and his friend Eric Green. "Five Seconds" is part of a series of videos based on the novel "Night Of The Silver Sun".

In the video Twin surfs on his motorbike and still rides on the wrong side of the road. He has a lot of chasing and fighting. At the end of the video she plays a preview of the track "Patient". This is the cue for the second single and video.

"Ton Up" is the name of the North American tour to promote Confess. It starts on July 21st and ends on September 27th, in NY. The tour poster was made by designer Gianmarco Magnani and is available, exclusively for purchase, on the official Twin Shadow website.

While visiting Brazil in 2010, Twin performed in São Paulo on June 2nd. The presentation took place at Estúdio Emme, as part of the Puma Social Club events. With the album just released, the audience present didn't know much about Twin's work.

The single "Five Seconds" is available for download on the official website.
